ICASA invites qualified candidates to apply for the Administrative Officer post that has become available at their Cape Town regional office.

Salary Range: Total Annual Package (CTC) – R276,259.00 – R345,324.00

Purpose of the Job

To provide procurement and administrative support to the Regional Manager and the entire Regional Office.

 

Key Outputs

The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager: Western Cape, and their responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming calls and directing them.
  • Receiving in-person visits to the office.
  • Preparing internal memorandums regarding procurement and traveling.
  • Handling and follow-up on these processes with the Supply Chain division and ensuring they are completed timeously.
  • Administration of required petty cash for the division.
  • Vehicle administration and key control.
  • Filing and general office administration.

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Qualification: 1-year Diploma in Secretarial/Office Administration (NQF5)
  • Preferred Qualification: Three-year National Diploma (Secretarial/Office Administration) – NQF L6 (added advantage)
  • Experience: 3 – 5 years working experience in Secretarial Support / Office Administration / Relevant Administration Experience
  • Skills:
    • Computer Literacy (Advanced MS Word, Advanced MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
    • Knowledge of using financial systems such as JDE (added advantage)
    • Experience in a regulatory environment (Telecommunications, Postal, and Broadcasting) (added advantage)
