Job Title: Armed Response Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to alarm activations and emergencies
• Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security
• Conduct regular perimeter checks and monitor security systems
• Provide visible security presence and deter criminal activity
• Handle any security incidents and emergencies in a professional manner
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of incidents and activities
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary
• Ensure all security equipment is operational and report any malfunctions.

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Grade B PSIRA accreditation and registration with Response.
• Minimum of 3 years in the security industry.
• No criminal record; willing to undergo regular criminal checks.
• Must be physically fit and in good health; not afraid of heights.
• Computer literacy is an advantage.
• Prior experience in estate/residential security is preferred.
• Must reside within traveling distance to the site in Soweto.
• Handgun for Business Purposes certification is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Women candidates are encouraged to apply.
