Qualification and Experience
- Grade 10
- PSIRA Registered Grade C
- Valid Driver’s License (Code B/EB or former truck license acceptable)
- Armed Response Certificate
- Firearm Competency Certificate
Job Requirments and Other Attributes
- Minimum two (2) years driving experience
- Ability to work shifts
- High maturity level
Duties
- Familiarize yourself with the area
- Maintain response times as required by management
- Possess necessary driving skills
- Use the shortest possible routes in the area
- Show empathy to clients and listen attentively
- Prioritize the welfare of the client at all times
- Follow up with clients after serious incidents and offer assistance
- Pay special attention to all calls
- Perform a public relations service and introduction call to new clients
- Standoff at delegated places during peak hours
- Patrol the area during off-peak times
- Conduct daily parade and comply with Standing Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Maintain general appearance of vehicle; complete daily/weekly checklists
- Maintain personal hygiene; daily parades will be conducted
- Take care of equipment; complete daily/weekly checklists
- Submit comprehensive reports and feedback as requested
- Forward accurate information both upwards and downwards
- Assist with any problems or complaints
- Provide full feedback to clients where necessary.
