A Driver vacancy exists at Airports Company of South Africa within the Infrastructure Asset Management division.

The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Manager of Corporate Facilities and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Conduct daily inspections on all department vehicles and other equipment to ensure roadworthiness, serviceability, and operational readiness, including fueling as per scheduled intervals.
Store all maintenance equipment safely and ensure all department vehicles, other maintenance machinery, and workstations are cleaned regularly.
Drive the tractor and all department vehicles for operations.
Operate runway and all sweeping machines.
Perform daily cleaning maintenance operations by driving refuse removal vehicles.
Assist in other maintenance activities as requested and instructed by the Surface Maintenance Department Head.
Report any accidents and incidents involving all department vehicles.
Report any non-compliance on all department vehicles.
Update logbooks as and when required.
Liaise and engage with internal stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Adhere to relevant legislation, regulations, standards, codes, and company policies and procedures.

The following skills and experience, or the equivalent thereof, are required:

Matric (Grade 12) is essential.
1-3 years’ experience in maintenance or operations within the facilities maintenance sector is essential.
Valid Code C1 driver’s license is essential.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Knowledge of the airport environment.
