Location: Tshwane Regional Office, Pretoria, gauteng

Requirements:

• NQF level 2 (Grade 10 certificate or equivalent)
• 5 years’ relevant experience
• A valid driver’s license (Code EC) and operating certificate
• Ability to operate equipment
• Good communication skills

Duties:

• Operating specialized plant and equipment, e.g., Graders, TLB’s, and Trucks
• Loading and offloading equipment
• Inspecting and maintaining equipment and reporting defects
• Keeping log sheets of vehicles and machinery
• Applying safety and precautionary measures
• Cleaning and lubricating machinery and equipment
• Grading gravel roads and performing re-gravelling/shoulder maintenance
• Transporting work teams and materials/equipment
• Detecting and repairing minor mechanical problems on vehicles and taking steps to have them repaired (checking the level and condition of oil, fuel, tyres, and water)
