Requirements:

• NQF Level 2 or Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
• Food Service experience in a clinical/hospital environment will be an added advantage.
• Priority will be given to EPWP/Interns.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in a team and under stressful conditions.
• Ability to work weekends, night shifts, and public holidays.
• Diversity and equity in the workplace will be strongly considered, especially concerning race, gender, and disability.

Duties:

• Preparation of normal and therapeutic diets as per standardised recipes.
• Portioning of meals according to the ration scale and prescription.
• Applying hygiene and safety measures in the factory according to HACCP rules and OHS standards.
• Lifting of heavy food service equipment.
• Responsibility for all allocated resources.
• Ability to relieve in all areas of the Cook Freeze factory when required.
• Willingness to undergo continuous training and development programs.
