Purpose of the Job:
To assist with the conceptualisation, planning, and implementation of communication, marketing, branding, and transformation initiatives.
Roles, and Responsibilities:
Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality:
- Identify and assess issue-based risk exposures.
- Apply mitigation and implement control measures.
- Manage SHEQ compliance and utilize the Information Management System (IMS).
People:
- Manage relationships with stakeholders.
- Contribute to a positive climate/culture through collaboration.
- Manage performance against targets and competencies.
Customers:
- Maintain and improve relationships with stakeholders.
- Ensure customer and supplier satisfaction.
- Align development needs with the transformation agenda.
Business Processes:
- Legislation:
- Monitor legislative changes impacting transformation.
- Provide information, advice, and training on relevant legislation.
- Conduct research on challenges affecting operational licenses.
- Transformation:
- Assist with addressing transformation barriers.
- Support the implementation of LED Projects and Enterprise Development initiatives.
- LED Projects:
- Assist with planning and implementation.
- Liaise with stakeholders and promote company interests.
Climate and Culture:
- Track Group-wide Climate and Culture trends.
- Monitor social media for stakeholder views.
Reporting:
- Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual transformation reports.
- Draft quarterly BU newsletters and annual SLP reports.
Event Planning and Management:
- Assist with departmental events.
- Manage community relations and projects.
Other:
- Create and update content for communication platforms.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports.
- Develop and implement communication strategies.
- Attend and promote company/community events.
Growth:
- Manage Continuous Improvement and research community cultural diversity.
Shareholder Value:
- Efficiently manage departmental budgets.
