About the Massmart Graduate Programme

Massmart offers an 18-month internship programme that provides work experience per the student’s training programme (logbook requirements) from the institution. You will gain valuable work experience, explore career paths and be able to network with professionals in the field of study.

During this time, you will be based in one of our Massmart Retail Stores (Gauteng, Mpumalanga or KwaZulu-Natal) and be exposed to the world of retail.

In addition to a qualification and relevant work experience, you’ll also gain business, personal, and technical retail skills you can use across the business and throughout your career journey.

Requirements

• Completed a TVET N6 qualification in
  • Business Management,
  • Financial Management,
  • Administration) from a TVET college
• Should not have been employed permanently with a single employer continuously for more than 1-year
• Should not be studying full-time in the year of employment (August ’24 – July ’25)
• Should not be registered on a SETA-funded program currently
• Available and willing to work retail hours and on a fixed-term 18-month contract.
