SBV seeks to appoint Y.E.S General Administrators responsible for supporting Human Resources functions within the operational center, including talent management, recruitment, selection, and personnel administration.

Key Responsibilities
HR Administration
- Maintain and update both manual and electronic personnel records (HRIS) for compliance and audit purposes.
- Track and monitor personnel registration on medical aid, ensuring completeness of all applications and resolving queries.
- Administer and provide information for external and internal documentation, including:
- External: IOD, Death, Disability, ICAS referrals
- Internal: Job profiles, PPA, engagement/termination forms, provident fund, Safrican, spouse insurance, bonus provisions, debts acknowledgements, leave forms.
Confidentiality and Query Resolution
- Handle confidential information and documentation in line with company and legal standards.
- Resolve queries regarding employee benefits and payslips promptly.
Reporting and Stakeholder Engagement
- Compile and submit HR management information reports, engaging relevant stakeholders like Regional HRBP, Centre Management, and Finance business partners. Key reports include:
- Weekly Vacancy Tracker, Performance Appraisals, Leave Management, Overtime Management, and Payroll discrepancies.
- Regular updates on complement discrepancies, IR stats, and transformation metrics.
Leave Management
- Oversee leave management, ensuring accuracy of data and reduction of leave liability.
- Monitor and manage leave balances, addressing queries related to leave allocations, balances, and entitlements.
Project and Initiative Execution
- Facilitate the roll-out of HR projects and initiatives within one’s center, driving change and providing feedback to Regional HRBP and Line Management.
Recruitment and Orientation
- Execute recruitment processes for both contract and permanent positions up to JG 11.
- Draft interview guides, support transformation targets, conduct orientations for new hires, and handle exit interviews for job grades up to JG 11.
Headcount Management
- Verify headcount via bi-weekly and monthly audits, managing complement to meet operational needs.
Performance Management
- Oversee performance appraisals, submit completed files to Regional HRBP, and conduct trend analysis on appraisal scores.
- Support line management on performance issues and ensure talent management best practices.
Kronos System Maintenance
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of timecards on Kronos, adhering to deadlines and escalating any discrepancies.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Conduct regular meetings with Line Managers and Shop Stewards, providing feedback to the HRBP.
Employee Wellness Support
- Support wellness initiatives, including ICAS referrals and regular follow-ups, and assist ER with related activities.
Organizational Culture
- Promote the department’s values and maintain high morale, creating and implementing strategies to drive employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead BBB-EE and transformation initiatives to align with company goals.
Leadership in Change Management
- Serve as an ambassador for change, facilitating integration of CIT and processing functions to optimize customer service, and communicate new processes effectively.
Experience
- External: 1 year as an HR Generalist (advantageous).
Minimum Education
- Internal Candidates: Studying towards a 3-year HR Diploma/Degree with 3 years’ HR experience.
- External Candidates: HR Degree or 3-year HR Diploma with 3 years’ experience as an HR Generalist, including 1 year in recruitment.
