SASSETA invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the Human Resources Administrator post that has become available at their Midrand Head Office.

Position: Human Resources (HR) Administrator:

Organisation: Safety and Security Sector Education and Training

Location: SASSETA Head Office, Midrand, Johannesburg, Gauteng
Type: Fixed-term contract position (expiring on 31 March 2030)
Annual Remuneration Package (TCTC): R352 306

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administration support during the recruitment and selection process.
  • Assist in the implementation of the performance management system.
  • Render secretarial services to HR Committees.
  • Support the implementation of employee training and development.
  • Administer workforce profiles upon staff movements.
  • Manage the employee exit process.
  • Maintain the HR correspondence register.
  • Process invoices for HR Department service providers.
  • Ensure proper filing of HR records (physically and electronically).
  • Perform any other duties delegated by the Manager.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Qualifications: Minimum of NQF Level 5 qualification in Human Resources Management.

 

  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years of experience in performing general human resources duties.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in coordinating meetings, including taking minutes.

 

  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Moderate knowledge of Human Resources Information (HRI) Systems.
    • Understanding of SA Labour Legislation.
    • Intermediate computer literacy.
    • Planning and organizing skills.
    • Excellent administration skills.
    • Minute-taking skills.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
    • Team player and detail-oriented.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Records keeping and information storage skills.
    • Good communication skills (oral and written).
    • Report writing skills.

    • Analytical skills.
