About HWSETA
The Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) is responsible for the education, training and skills development requirements of the health, social development and veterinary sectors.
The key objectives of the HWSeta include the development and implementation of the Sector Skills Plan; skills development planning; and monitoring of education and training.
About the Internship
The objective of the internship is to support the mandate of the HWSeta while at the same time affording young people opportunities to build their careers.
The successful candidate will gain training and workplace experience in event management, and will participate in:
- Implementing branding initiatives
- Maintaining an up-to-date media contact database
- Reporting
- Development of communications strategy and programmes
- Producing marketing plans
- Advertising activities, and
- Managing stakeholder relationships.
Location
The internship is based in Bedfordview, Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Stipend
An amount of R10 600.00 per month will be paid to interns the duration of the internship.

Minimum Qualifications
Degree in Marketing/ Communications/ Public Relations/ Journalism
