Job Description
As a socially responsible organisation, the NNR provides unemployed graduates with opportunities to receive workplace exposure, practical job shadowing, further training, and skills development.
The NNR’s Communications and Stakeholder Relations department has an opening for a dynamic Communications and Stakeholder Relations intern.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- NQF Level 7 in Corporate Communications or Journalism
- No prior work experience; a graduate seeking internship experience
- Must not have participated previously in any formal employment or internship/learnership programme
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be an unemployed graduate under the age of 35.
Skills Development and Training Focus Areas:
- Writing media releases, newsletter articles, and reports
- Monitoring and reporting for social media and website
- Liaison and engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Event management
- Branding.
Skills and Competencies:
- Good writing and verbal communication skills
- Planning and event coordination
- Self-time management
- Ability to conduct research and develop content for articles
- Team player and a good networker
- Able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver on adhoc tasks when required.
Salary:
R60,000 – R150,000 per annum.
