PPC is looking for a skilled Mixer Driver to join our team at Steyn City. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the mixer truck and ensuring timely deliveries as per client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the mixer truck efficiently and ensure timely deliveries
- Perform regular checks on the vehicle and mixer
- Maintain cleanliness and manage the tyres of the vehicle
- Plan routes and ensure adherence to traffic rules and company policies
- Operate the mixer to offload the load.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle auxiliary equipment
- Familiarity with road transport legislation
- Ability to drive various types of vehicles including straight, auto-semi auto, split gearbox Mercedes Benz, FAW, and Fusco.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 plus external driver certification (Transvaal Training)
- Valid code 14 (EC) with PDP
- Ability to read, write, and calculate
- Strong human relations and interpersonal skills
- High level of responsibility
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Physically fit and healthy, with good sight, hearing, and speech ability
- Medically fit to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work overtime as required
- Periodically drill the mixer drum
- Conduct pre-activity checks on the vehicle and mixer
- Report any issues to the Supervisor
- Ensure the vehicle is cleaned and greased regularly
- Manage tyres effectively
- Transport loads to and from sites as per schedule
- Plan and follow efficient routes
- Continuously check for vehicle defaults
- Operate the mixer to offload materials
- Adhere to traffic rules and company policies
- Follow daily instructions regarding refuse removal.
