Reporting To: Senior Manager: Human Capital Management (KNP) and dotted line to General Manager: Learning and Development Manager

About the Role
As the Manager: Learning and Development, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Managing the coordination and implementation of learning and development programs
- Developing and preparing learning programs for KNP
- Prioritizing operational learning and development needs
- Contributing to the development of policies, SOPs, and processes for learning and development programs
- Implementing processes and systems for effective delivery of programs and ensuring quality assurance
- Managing and coordinating the implementation of various training programs (Induction, MDP, RPL, Internship and Learnerships)
- Maintaining and managing stakeholder relations

Criteria
- Degree in Human Resources Management/Human Resources Development
- Occupational Directed Education Training and Development Practices (OD-ETDP) certificate
- Registration with relevant bodies
- 4-6 years’ experience in learning and development
- Understanding of SANParks policies and reporting framework
- Knowledge of Good Corporate Governance Practices
- Skills development legislation knowledge (SDA, SDLA, EEA, B-BBEE, LRA, SAQA Act)
- Strong leadership, management, planning, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and conflict resolution skills
- Project management and computer skills
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
