DHL Global Forwarding is offering an exciting Learnership Program for the 2024/2025 intake, aimed at providing unemployed youth with the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Freight Forwarding.

Job Overview
This one-year program will be based in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, and Durban, and will focus on the Clearing and Forwarding Agent NQF 5 qualification.
Key Responsibilities
As a Learner, you will:
- Support the delivery of import/export processes and activities under direct supervision.
- Perform tasks related to documentation, such as receiving, reconciling, and summarizing information.
- Assist in maintaining operational systems according to instructions.
- Execute back-office duties including scanning, filing, and reporting.
- Follow defined processes, systems, and methods to complete assigned tasks.
- Interact primarily with your own team and communicate information that requires minimal explanation.
- Address task-related issues appropriately to maintain effective work relationships.
Requirements
- Education: Grade 12/Matric with at least 65% in English. (Please attach your certificate when submitting your application.)
- Age: Must be between 18 and 30 years old.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Employment Status: Must be currently unemployed and not studying.
- Skills: Basic computer knowledge (MS Office) is an advantage.
- Equity: Selection will be done in line with the Company’s Employment Equity Policy.
