Purpose of the Position:

The purpose of this internship is to provide practical work experience to students in their final year of study who require practical work experience to obtain their qualifications. The successful candidate will enter a 12-month contract commencing on 01 July 2024 and terminating on 30 June 2025.

 

Key Learning Areas

These include, but Are Not Limited to, the Following:

  • General Documentation and  a natural affinity to administration tasks, and detail-orientated
  • Experience in dealing with learnerships, Internships and bursaries
  • Experience in working on BBBEE (skills development element)
  • Experience with tracking and reporting of statistics
  • Good communication and computer literacy skills
  • Methodical, analytical and deadline-driven
  • Able to solve problems and work under pressure
  • Exposure to WSP and ATR is highly desirable

 

Qualification Criteria:

To qualify for selection and participation in this program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Final year of obtaining a Human Resources/ Education, Training, and Development related tertiary qualification – degree
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Suit (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Sound communication and presentation skills;
  • Effective time management;
  • Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a team
  • South African citizen

 

Required Documents:

Prospective interns must submit the following:

  • Motivational letter,
  • A curriculum vitae,
  • Certified academic record,
  • Certified copy of grade 12 certificate
  • Certified copy of identity document
  • A letter from the tertiary institution confirming that the student requires exposure to the workplace to obtain their qualification
  • A format for evaluation required by the tertiary institution (Logbook)
