Purpose of the Position:
- To pick, pack, and deliver parts daily to relevant areas in compliance with agreed standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area as well as manage orders within the warehouse or distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and Governance:
- Plan and organize tasks to ensure performance targets are met and SOPs are adhered to.
- Provide daily feedback on task delivery to inform decision-making processes.
- Resolve routine problems and report unresolved issues to ensure timely addressing of problems.
- Check stock levels based on system-generated cycle counts and report any discrepancies to the relevant supervisor for action.
- Re-bin stock based on system-generated movement information to optimize warehouse layout.
- Scan stock and bin parts into allocated areas within the warehouse.
Finance:
- Execute work activities effectively and efficiently to maximize financial performance and profitability.
Client/Customer:
- Deliver services that create a culture aiming to exceed customers’ expectations in all aspects of the business.
- Perform work activities according to set standards to satisfy internal and external customers.
People:
- Complete daily tasks and attend training to improve the quality and standard of own work.
- Own and live up to company values.
Minimum Qualification:
- Higher Certificates and/or Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates with NQF Level 04.
Minimum Experience:
0 – 1 year experience in a similar environment.
Skills and Personal Attributes:
- Knowledge of industry legislative compliance.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Attention to detail
