Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality tests and compile reports.
• Communicate out-of-line specifications to maintain product and package quality in line with Company standards.
• Minimize costs and ensure records are available for audit purposes.

Qualifications:

• Studying towards Microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related qualification.
• Completed theoretical modules and requiring practical exposure to complete the qualification.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, and mathematics related to the food industry.
• Familiarity with laboratory policy and practices.

Skills:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, pressurized, and competitive environment.
• Capability to apply theoretical scientific principles in developing novel business solutions.
• Well-developed decision-making skills.
• Ability to identify and apply new trends.

Attitude:

• Passion for quality and people.
• High energy levels and a positive attitude.
