Job Title Specialist: Web Development
Purpose Statement
Design, develop, implement and maintain functional and secured web applications and provide support to existing web applications and integrate new technologies into system designs for the SABS to meet the strategic and business objectives of the organization.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma + Advanced Diploma / B-Degree in ICT, IS, Computer science or related field (NQF Level 7)
- HTML & CSS Coding Specialist (HCCS) Certification is essential
- JavaScript Certification is advantageous
- 8 years of relevant work experience in Web / SharePoint applications and Nintex workflows
- 4 years of specialist experience
- Proven track record in working on both intranet and extranet design projects
- Proven track record in creating and implementing complex web applications
- Proven track record in web development and design principles
- E-Commerce experience is preferred
Job Title Specialist: Microsoft Developer (12 months fixed term contract)
Purpose Statement:
Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft solutions including the migration of legacy systems to the latest fit-for-purpose technology in line with organizational objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualifications – Diploma + Postgraduate diploma / B-degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field (NQF Level 7).
- Certification – Microsoft certification (e.g. Microsoft certified: Power Platform Developer Associate / Microsoft 365 Certified Developer & SharePoint Developer) are advantageous.
- ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous.
- Years of Experience – 8 year’s relevant work experience in Microsoft applications.
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Power Platform Developer & working on O365 platform.
Job Title Specialist: Server Administration x2
Purpose Statement
To design, develop, implement and maintain the SABS Server Infrastructure environment by resolving internal and external queries timeously.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma + Advanced Diploma / B-Degree in ICT, IS, Computer science or a related field (NQF Level 7)
- MCSE: Productivity Certification is essential.
- Server Certification is advantageous.
- Oracle Certified Server Associate is advantageous.
- VMware certification is preferred.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification is advantageous.
Job Title Technician: Application Development and Support
Purpose Statement
To provide development support and maintenance of business applications including the migration of legacy systems to the latest fit-for-purpose technology in line with organisational objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma / Diploma in IT, Information Systems, Computer science or a related field (NQF Level 6)
- DevOps Certification is advantageous.
- ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous.
- 3 years relevant work experience in Application Development on Java, Java Script, Oracle and .Net.
- Proven track record in maintaining and supporting ERP and Human Capital Information systems.
- Proven track record in supporting the migration and integration of legacy application systems within a corporate environment.
- Proven track record in maintaining the implementation of complex applications.
Job Title Specialist: Application Development and Support X2
Purpose Statement
Responsible for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of business applications including the migration of legacy systems to the latest fit-for-purpose technology in line with organisational objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma + Advanced Diploma /B-Degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer science or a related field
- DevOps Certification is advantageous

- 8 years relevant work experience in ICT Business Intelligence / Programming
- 4 years specialist experience
- Proven track record in developing, maintaining and supporting ERP and Human Capital Information systems
- Experience in migration and integration of legacy application systems within a corporate environment
- Proven track record in developing and implementing complex applications
Job Title Manager: ICT Service Desk and End User Support
Purpose Statement
To develop, implement and manage all ICT Service Desk and End-User Support and activities, reporting and strategies on behalf of the SABS to support strategic objectives and business operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma + Advanced Diploma / B-Degree in IT, IS, Computer Science or related field (NQF Level 7)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification is essential
- MCSE: Desktop Infrastructure or Core Infrastructure Certification is advantageous
- CCNA Certification is advantageous
- 10 years relevant work experience in ICT
- 3 years managerial experience
- Proven track record in managing an ICT service desk and support environment
Job Title ICT Service Desk Agent: Technical Support
Purpose Statement
To deliver effective 1st line support to SABS ICT users and to conduct maintenance of ICT equipment at SABS sites to ensure the optimal functional of ICT systems and infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma / Diploma in ICT, Computer Science or equivalent field (NQF Level 6)
- A+ certification is advantageous
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library Certification is essential
- MSCE: Core Infrastructure Certification is advantageous
- 3 years of relevant work experience in ICT Support
