Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12 qualification
  • Diploma qualification / NQF 6 is required
  • 2-3 years of general secretarial, office support, and administration experience
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience in office administration, shorthand, and minute-taking.

 

Primary Duties

  • Reception of visitors, screening and appropriately dealing with telephone calls
  • Manage the manager’s diary and coordinate travel arrangements both nationally and internationally
  • Compile and type reports and presentations
  • Undertake a variety of administrative tasks within general guidelines
  • Coordinate arrangements for various meetings
  • Assemble appropriate material for meetings and conferences
  • Take dictation and transcribe from shorthand.

  • Office support and administration
  • Advanced computer literacy (MS Word and PowerPoint).
