Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Liaise between Finance and Merchandising to resolve capturing errors and queries.
- Monitor, investigate, and report on IBT discrepancies across stores.
- Interrogate stock count variance reports, finalize, and communicate stock count results.
- Process stock adjustments and corrections after investigation and verification.
- Handle return-to-supplier procedures for damaged or incorrectly delivered stock.
- Ensure accurate stock receipting into the business and investigate any variances.
- Correct capturing errors appropriately.
- Verify and process supplier claims for short deliveries and incorrect pricing.
- Produce weekly reports on capturing errors, variances, and warehouse stock movement and outstanding IBTs.
- Review negative stock reports and produce corrective actions.
- Document and communicate stock issues experienced at stores with the warehouse.
- Supervise the stock returns process between stores, warehouses, and suppliers.
- Trace the history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
- Enforce and refine company inventory processes and stock control best practices.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent required.
- Tertiary qualifications are advantageous (in stock control, returns, logistics).
- Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience in stock administration, preferably in retail.
- Fully computer literate with advanced Excel knowledge.
- Ability to work with large volumes.
