ETDP Seta

The ETDP SETA has 10 temporary Project Administrator posts to  help streamline and implement the USAF Project. The positions are based in the offices in Johannesburg.

 

Salary:

R34 382.75 per month

 

Duration:

01 December 2024 – 31 March 2025 (four months contract)

 

Job Purpose:

To coordinate and implement project activities and efficiently execute the USAF project. The successful candidates will report to the Project Supervisor, and the positions will be based in ETDP SETA Head Offices in Johannesburg. The successful candidate must meet the minimum requirements listed below.

 

Qualification, experience and knowledge required:

• A National Diploma in Financial Accounting or Financial Management.
• At least three (3) years experience working in a finance or auditing environment
• Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook), including skills in SharePoint, OneDrive, and MS Teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task many things from many people.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines under challenging circumstances.
• Ability to work independently with high ethical standards and effectively in a team
• Ability to confidentially interact at all levels within and outside the ETDP SETA.
• Be proactive, trustworthy and highly output-driven individual.
• Good time management and Interpersonal relations skills
• Decision-making and conflict management skills
• Be creative/innovative.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and verification of supporting documents for discretionary grants transactions (bursaries) to determine the validity of the service provider’s claims.
  • Review and auditing of the learner database and validation of data accuracy.
  • Review of the supporting documents for alignment with SETA bursary requirements per the Memorandum of Award (MoA) with the service provider and learner Letter of Award (LoA) (where applicable).
  • Verifies supporting documentation to ensure authenticity.
  • Captures and files discretionary grant transactions.
  • The document identified gaps and followed up with the client.
  • Promptly and attentively respond to customer requests within established parameters and time frames.
  • Any ad-hoc work as allocated by the Project Supervisor or Project Leader.
