Servest Office Services, a division of the Servest Group, has an open vacancy for a Warehouse Picker / Packer. This position is responsible for packing and counting stock at the warehouse.
The position is based at the Midrand office and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric or equivalent
- Relevant qualification
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and organizing skills
- Computer skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparing and packing orders for shipment
- Checking damages and reporting to the Warehouse Manager
- Handling pick tickets/orders from Warehouse management/staff to pull items from warehouse inventory
- Comparing and inspecting physical items pulled to the requirements of the picking slip
- Packing/wrapping orders as required by item/delivery type, and preparing for shipment
- Ensuring that orders are staged correctly for each delivery
- Participating in conducting warehouse inventory counts as required
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
