Servest Office Services, a division of the Servest Group, has an open vacancy for a Warehouse Picker / Packer. This position is responsible for packing and counting stock at the warehouse.

 

The position is based at the Midrand office and reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric or equivalent
  • Relevant qualification
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication and organizing skills
  • Computer skills.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparing and packing orders for shipment
  • Checking damages and reporting to the Warehouse Manager
  • Handling pick tickets/orders from Warehouse management/staff to pull items from warehouse inventory
  • Comparing and inspecting physical items pulled to the requirements of the picking slip
  • Packing/wrapping orders as required by item/delivery type, and preparing for shipment
  • Ensuring that orders are staged correctly for each delivery
  • Participating in conducting warehouse inventory counts as required
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
