Servest Security has clients in Gauteng that need security services and are recruiting security officers residing in  Bedfordview, Glenvista, Horizon View, Lenasia, Morningside, Old Eds, Randburg, Roodepoort, Sandton, Soweto, Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging, and surrounding areas to be employed on a fixed-term contract.

Minimum Requirements

• Completed Matric
• Grade C PSIRA registered (a must)
• No criminal record
• Minimum of 2 years working experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Firearm competency (advantageous)
• Have an interest in the security industry
• Must be residing in Gauteng South – Bedfordview, Glenvista, Horizon View, Lenasia, Morningside, Old Eds, Randburg, Roodepoort, Sandton, Soweto, Vanderbijlpark, Vereeniging, and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Security Officer responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

• Patrol premises regularly to establish a presence
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people on the property
• Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations
• Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts
• Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
